Okay, I've just heard that our Congress is trying to pass a bill that would provide Social Security benefits to illegal aliens!  What the hell are those morons in Washington, who are supposed to represent US, doing?  Why does this country seem to think that we have to support the rest of the world?  Our politicians are more concerned with making the citizens of foreign countries happy, than they are about the citizens of this country, whom they are supposed to represent.

Now, riddle me this:  If Social Security is on the fringe as it is, and there are questions about whether those people who are paying into it now will recieve benefits, how do these idiots think it will support providing benefits to people who have never made a contribution to the fund to begin with?  Things like this just completely piss me off.  This is OUR country, not the illegal immigrant's from Mexico, Costa Rica, Vietnam or anywhere else!  Let's take care of our own citizens, and let other countries take care of theirs.

When will our politicians realize that they should be our advocates against other countries, and take care of our citizens rather than the other way around?

I just spent the day at the airport and came to something of a realization--I still don't think I've found my dream job.  I enjoy flying, and it may just be my current mood, but it seems like it has become a grind lately.  It has become a JOB.  When I was little, and even through high school I pictured myself doing something creative.  I guess sometimes I just want to have something to show for a day's work.  I want something tangible that I created.
